  • Full PhD funding with the National Research Foundation (NRF) for three years of doctoral study (2021-2023).
  • Awarded the best student paper award at the International Association for Forensic Phonetics and Acoustics Conference in 2021.
  • Eshowe District Hospital Employee of the Year Award 2018.
  • P De V Pienaar Prize 2017 for the student who has maintained the highest academic standard over four years of undergraduate study.
